Christmas boot
Ideas for making toys to decorate the Christmas tree come completely unexpectedly. This happened this time too. When I saw the empty packaging of children’s socks, I thought how similar they were to the boots hanging by the fireplace. This is how a persistent desire to make a Christmas boot out of plastic was formed. Time to create this crafts minimum spent. And the result will hang on a beautiful green tree, and delight with its presence all the New Year holidays.
1. To make the boot the following were used:
• Plastic sock packaging.
• Paints.
• Brush.
• Glue.
• Scissors.
• Pencil.
• Ribbon.
• Tinsel.
2. Using scissors, cut out the plastic part of the sock. We trace the cardboard base along it and cut it out. You need to be careful with the cardboard base, and under no circumstances cut it smaller than a plastic boot.
3. We draw bright red snowflakes both on plastic and on cardboard.
4. Using white paint, draw dots in random places and paint over the top of the boot. We wait for the paint to dry well and continue working.
5. Place tinsel in the center of the paper base.
6.Apply glue along the contour of the paper boot. Glue the plastic part on top.
7. Unfortunately, in some places the tinsel still came out. We cut it with scissors.
8. Glue a loop on the back side of the cardboard so that you can hang the Christmas boot.
9. The bright toy for the Christmas tree is ready.
