Christmas wreath
A Christmas wreath is a mandatory attribute of the New Year holidays, a wonderful decoration that will not leave anyone indifferent. But I’m so tired of ordinary wreaths made of spruce branches or tinsel. So I found a way out! I suggest making a Christmas wreath from small gifts! Begin!
To make a Christmas one we will need:
Step 1. Take cardboard, it is better to use cardboard from a box; this is necessary so that the wreath subsequently holds its shape. On cardboard, using a compass, draw a circle with a diameter of 20 cm. Inside it, draw a smaller circle with a diameter of 10 cm. Cut it out.
Step 2. Cut out small cubes from polystyrene foam, preferably of different sizes. This way the gifts will look more impressive.
Step 3. Next you need to pack the gifts. We cut out small squares from wrapping paper; they should be larger in size than the foam cubes by about 5-7 cm on each side.We place the foam cube in the center of the paper; it must be placed on the inside of the paper.
Step 4. Using tape in the middle, secure both parts. First, fold one side of the paper, then the other to the center.
Step 5. Next, you need to bend the sides of the paper. To do this, first bend the upper part and form the outer tongues. We bend the tabs to the box.
Step 6. We also bend the lower part and fix it with double-sided tape. The same should be done with the back side of the wrapping paper. To be secure, you can once again secure the top with transparent tape.
Step 7. To make the gift look more festive, wrap it with a satin ribbon. It is desirable that the ribbon be shiny and harmonize with the wrapping paper. We will make a lot of gifts, they should be of different sizes and with different designs of wrapping paper. I needed about 16 pieces.
Step 8. Let's return to the cardboard base of the Christmas wreath. So that it can later be hung on a wall or door, we will make a loop from a satin ribbon. To do this, fold the ribbon in half and attach it to the cardboard base with glue.
Step 9. The most interesting part remains. We begin to attach the gifts to the base of the wreath using a glue gun or Moment glue. First, you can create a composition to see how best the wreath will look. First of all, you need to glue the large present, they don't have to be close to each other.
Step 10. Glue smaller ones on top between the large gifts. All that’s left is to glue small beads onto each gift and you’re done!
This is such an unusual Christmas wreath we made! It will certainly decorate the interior and create a feeling of the New Year's holiday.
