DIY massage mat for a child

To make a massage mat for a child you will need the following things:
1. A piece of thick fabric. but don’t forget that this is still a children’s rug, so it’s best to choose a fabric with bright colors or an interesting pattern.
2. Super glue. It is much more convenient than PVA glue, and the result will be more durable. But, of course, there are different types of super glue. The most preferable is not a disposable bottle, but a large one. Firstly, it will last longer. Secondly, it is the most convenient to use.
3. And lids from plastic lemonade bottles.Photo 3 You can also use lids from boxes of milk and kefir, and other dairy products. And also from drinks, such as “Actimel” or “Immunele”. Some of them also have internal vertical inserts, which makes the use of the mat even more effective. And the height of the caps is different, which is necessary for a good effect on the foot.
Manufacturing process.
The process of making such a rug is quite simple. You should iron the prepared fabric, as it will be impossible to do this later. Wash the prepared caps thoroughly so that they are absolutely clean. After all, the rug is made for a child.
The caps should be glued with the convex side onto the fabric. This is necessary so that the thin walls of the cap act on the nerve endings located on the child’s foot. You can glue the lids according to a pre-designed pattern. In this case, it is worth carefully distributing the colors so that caps of the same color are not in the same place.
Having coated the surface of the lid with glue, you should immediately place it on the fabric so that it sticks. This should be done with each cap. When all the caps are glued to the fabric, the massage mat will be ready.
In addition to lids, you can use buttons. But then the cost of the rug will be slightly more expensive. And so, at minimal cost, we got a beautiful and comfortable massage mat for a child.
