Decorative topiary

I want to tell you how to make a simple, original, decorative topiary with your own hands, which will happily decorate the interior of houses, apartments and bring visual delight.
Topiary is an artificial tree that is already quite a common decoration in our interior. It can also be called the Tree of Happiness. It’s not at all difficult to make it yourself, both for adults and with children, from artificial and natural materials. You just have to have a little patience, a desire to create and a positive attitude.
With the help of imagination, you can realize all sorts of creative ideas with your own hands.

To create a topiary with your own hands we need:
1. Scissors
2. Needle and thread
3. Square vase or flower pot
4. Artificial flowers
5. White fabric
6. Black tulle
7. Paper
8. Gypsum mixture (construction)
9. Wooden stick
10. Decorative beads
11. Glue gun
12. Glue stick

We begin our work by cutting a piece of white rectangular material

We fold the ends of the fabric towards the center and stitch the middle with threads.

Next, in a circle, we grab the edges of the fabric and pull them together, getting a flower.

We sew the rest of the flowers in a similar way; we will need about 15 to 18 of them.

Take a ready-made wooden stick. We coat the top with “hot glue” and wrap it with thin white tape from top to bottom. You can also use foil, twine, or colored paper to wrap the barrel. We also fix the bottom of the stick with glue.

We ended up with a finished stick wrapped in ribbon.

Pour a small amount of plaster or alabaster into a separate container, pour water into it and mix so that there are no lumps. The mixture should have the consistency of sour cream. Pour the prepared gypsum mixture into a small flower pot, insert a stick or twig in the middle and wait until the plaster hardens, holding it with your hand so that the stick does not tilt to the side.

We need to pay attention to our crown. It should be the way you intended it.
We will make the crown of our tree in the most usual way, from various newspapers,
twisted into a small ball and wrapped with thread or glued the edges with glue.

We make a small hole in the paper ball with a knife or scissors, pour glue inside and put it on a wooden stick.

We take small rectangular pieces of black tulle, fold them in half and stitch them with thread at the bend. Then we twist it into a flower and fix the base with glue using a gun.

Now let's start gluing the finished flowers from white fabric. We begin to glue the prepared flowers, made in advance, all over the paper ball with “hot glue”.

Then we add black tulle flowers. There should be approximately 5 to 7 of them. We fill the remaining empty spaces on the ball with ready-made artificial roses, also gluing them with “hot glue”.

Fill the top of the pot with white napkins. You can glue the remaining flowers from the rose to the pot and plant plaster animals, birds, butterflies at your discretion.
