Topiary made of sisal and money
Topiary, or the tree of happiness, can increasingly be seen in the interior. Firstly, it is very beautiful, and secondly, it brings goodness to the house - its top is made in the shape of a ball, and it has symbolized the sun since ancient times, which was a symbol of unity, infinity and constant movement.
You can buy such a tree in a souvenir shop or make it yourself - this way you can save money and make it in the desired color and desired size. You can make topiary for yourself, or you can give it as a gift. This master class will show you how to make a tree from available materials, as well as how to give money as an interesting gift by decorating the crown of a topiary with it.
To make topiary you will need:
Take an old pen. Wrap it with tape. You can glue it in several places for a stronger hold.
Make a hole in the foam ball, drop glue into it and stick the resulting stem in, let it dry.
Roll the sisal into balls the size of a walnut.
Depending on the resulting size and diameter of the foam base, you will need 20-30 pieces.
Glue the sisal balls onto the foam, placing them as tightly together as possible.
Now take a flower pot or cut the top off an old bottle of shower gel or liquid soap.
Dilute the alabaster with water to the consistency of thick sour cream.
Pour into a pot, install the stem and wait until it dries.
Next you need to hide the frozen alabaster. You can cover it with sisal or money. To do this, cut counterfeit banknotes into different pieces and glue them onto alabaster.
Now start decorating the topiary. Take foamiran, cut it into a sheet of such a size that it can be used to cover the pot.
Tie the foamiran with a ribbon and tie a bow.
Make small bows from a narrow green ribbon. The most convenient way to do this is on a fork, repeating the steps shown in the photo.
After the bow is removed from the fork, carefully cut off the edges at the free ends of the ribbon and singe it with a lighter so that they do not crumble.
Glue bows onto the sisal.
Take the desired number of beads and glue them between the sisal balls.
The topiary can be left as is or decorated with money, both real and fake.
Take the bills, fold them in half lengthwise and then crosswise.
Twist little bags from the resulting rectangle and secure them with paper clips, if this is real money, so that you can spend it later, or with glue, if it is fake.
Place money between the sisal balls.Secure fake banknotes with glue, but real ones can be secured so that they can be pulled out later. To do this, bend the edge of the paper clip on which the bag is attached and stick it into the foam.
The topiary is ready!
