New Year card
Next year, which is just around the corner, will be our Year of the Sheep. Although the sheep is a rather calm animal, the year 2015 is promised to us with small changes and some troubles, but all these events will be exclusively for the better, so you should not be afraid of them, but you just need to prepare for them so that they do not take you by surprise. If the worries and troubles in themselves are pleasant, then solving them is not at all difficult, and surprisingly, on the contrary, they are solved easily and with joy. Everything bad comes to an end and there comes a silver lining, which is what 2015 promises us. We will soon be seeing off the 2014 Year of the Horse, and welcoming the 2015 Year of the Sheep, so we need to prepare for it from these very minutes. New Year is a holiday of miracles and changes, so you need to think through its celebration down to the smallest detail. First of all, decorate the house beautifully, hang tinsel and bright garland lights in it, secondly, set a beautiful table with a gorgeous menu, and thirdly, decorate the Christmas tree and prepare gifts for it. The more gifts you prepare, the more gifts you receive in return. Attention must be paid to absolutely everyone so that no one is left without your attention. The most important thing during the New Year holidays is heartfelt and warm congratulations from the heart, which you can write and leave in a greeting card.
It’s better to make a New Year’s card yourself, it will be doubly pleasant, and most importantly, the manufacturing process will give you great pleasure.
For such a postcard we need to take:
The first thing we do is cut out a 20x20 cm square from pastel paper, and then divide it in half and fold it. It turns out that we have a base for a folded postcard of 10x20 cm.
When finished, the card will look like it’s double, with Merry Christmas on one side and Happy New Year on the other. We cut out two rectangles from New Year's paper 9.9 * 19.8 cm, and also a picture 6.5 * 10.5 cm.
We stamp inscriptions on a piece of watercolor, cut out two different ones and a strip of ribbon with a New Year’s motif.
We apply the tape and wrap it, and glue the inscriptions with tape at the bottom. We cut out a rectangle of 8.5*17 cm from the watercolor, round the edges and glue the sheep at the bottom, and stamp it at the top.
We sew all glued elements with a machine.
We glue the scrap paper onto the cover and sew both sides separately.
Glue the inside. From the stamens and berries we make a bouquet and glue it, then an organza bow, a snowflake deer, a pendant and half beads.
We receive a very tender New Year's card for wishes!
