Heart in the form of a notebook

It's always nice to receive Valentine's cards. And if the heart is made with your own hands, and even in the form of a useful thing, then it’s doubly joyful. This heart notebook is very easy to make. To do this you will need:
- a small sheet of thick red double-sided paper;
- 3-4 sheets of pink double-sided paper;
- scissors;
- pencil;
- heart-shaped template of any size;
- glue.

Sequence of work.
To make the cover, place the template on a piece of red paper, trace and cut out.

Carefully fold it in half.

The size of the template for making pages should be slightly smaller so that the finished leaves do not protrude beyond the edge of the cover. Therefore, fold the template in half and draw a line along the entire contour, reducing the size by half a centimeter.

Carefully trim and unfold. As you can see, the second template turned out smaller than the cut out red heart.

Attach the reduced template to a piece of pink paper, trace along the outline and cut out.

In this way, prepare 15-17 light hearts.

Fold them in half.

Apply a strip of glue along the entire length of the fold of the heart, half a centimeter wide.

Place the next piece on it, also folded in half. Apply glue again.You will end up with a stack of folded hearts. Let the glue dry.

Place the red heart unfolded on the table and spread glue in the middle along the entire fold. Then apply glue to the spine of the resulting stack and place it edge-on on the red blank exactly in the center. To ensure that both parts stick well, place two books on the sides of the pink blank and let the craft dry.

Now carefully connect both halves of the finished cover, marking the edges.

This is the notebook you got. If you open it and turn it over to the other side, you will get a valentine.

And inside your notebook you got a lot of pink pages: twice as many as there were blanks.

They can be left blank, leaving the future owner of the notebook to fill them out himself. Or you can write on each page a declaration of love, a proposal of friendship, or just good words that you would like to say to your friend.
