Bouquet of sweets
Surprising your loved ones with a gift is quite difficult. So many interesting and useful things are presented on the shelves of the Internet and ordinary stores. But there is one that, if properly executed, will delight the recipient. Such a gift is a bouquet of sweets. Creating a composition from candies and paper is not that difficult. Let's consider creating a chic bouquet to congratulate you on the upcoming March 8th. This will require, firstly, patience and perseverance. Secondly, a set of tools and devices:
• corrugated paper;
• scissors;
• green tape;
• wooden skewers;
• thin green wire;
• threads;
• heat gun.
Before starting work, you need to decide on the color scheme of the future bouquet.
Advice. It is advisable to select colors when choosing paper. Then you can really evaluate whether the shades suit each other or whether you should change your decision.
Our product will contain:
• light pink;

• burgundy;
We spread the paper on a flat surface and cut it into strips. The strip can be the entire length of the sheet. Width approximately 10 cm. Tip. Basically, the size of the petal will depend on the size of the candy. It is necessary to provide a tail for winding and a reduction for giving a piece of paper a shape.In this bouquet we take a round confectionery product as a basis. We glue the tail of the wrapper with a gun to a piece of green wire that serves as the stem. To give the product some airiness, we wrap the candy on top with a piece of tulle. You don’t have to do this, but the bouquet is more beautiful this way. We shape the petal by stretching the middle. By twisting it onto a skewer, we create embossed upper edges.
We attach the petals to the base of the stem with heated glue from a gun. To ensure proper fixation, we wrap it with threads. The arrangement should be such that one strip of paper overlaps the second.
We hide the place where the rose petals are fixed by wrapping it with tape.
We wrap the entire leg with tape to the end. Advice. Instead of tape, you can use adhesive velvety tape. It will look and feel nicer. But you can’t buy it everywhere. We make roses with combined flowers in the same way.
For the base of the bouquet we use:
• wicker basket;
• a piece of polystyrene foam the size of the basket;
• green fabric;
The foam is cut to the shape of the container. The thickness of the material should be such that the insert is flush with the top of the basket. Carefully wrap the foam with cloth. We fix the canvas at the bottom using a gun. We insert wire flower stems into the resulting base. We bend the ends of the wire protruding from the bottom with pliers. Thus, the flowers are securely fixed.
The bouquet itself will not look impressive without additional decorations. To do this, glue plastic or fabric leaves onto the green wire. They can be purchased at any craft store. Also, in the analogy with a wicker basket, we add dry curved branches. They can be found in nature. The result is a completed composition.
This bouquet can be given to your mother or sister. Original present will please the employee and will be just in time for congratulations from the authorities. The most important thing is that it was made from the heart and with best wishes.
