Craft game for developing memory and attention
The development of mental abilities is the main component of preparing children for school. The task of educators and parents is timely training of memory, perseverance and attention. Of course, there are many computer games aimed at developing these abilities. But! Without exception, all mothers and fathers strive to reduce the time their child spends behind the monitor. This means that it is worth considering options for games without the use of modern gadgets.
The game is designed for children of primary school age, and possibly older children in kindergarten. At the age of 4-5 years, fidgets can easily count up to 10. For older students, when developing material, we advise you to safely use numbers up to 100. After 1-2 months of daily training, both at home and in educational institutions, we get the long-awaited result.
What is the point of the game?
The numbers from “1” to “?” are randomly placed on the canvas. Goal: find and count as many numbers as possible in a certain time, for example, 1 minute. Participants: 2 or more players.A mother is a worthy opponent for her child in the battle for victory.
How to make a game?
We suggest considering an interesting option using a herbarium. You will need:
- dried colorful leaves (for color).
- old wall calendar.

- A4 sheet and thick cardboard.
- glue.
- scissors.
At the first stage, carefully glue a landscape sheet onto the cardboard. We lay out and glue dry leaves of bushes and trees on top: grape, maple, birch, aspen and others. The result is a motley picture.

Take a wall calendar and cut out the required number of numbers: 10, 20, 30, 40, etc. An example is shown in the photograph.

We finish creating the game by gluing cut-out calendar numbers randomly onto the leaves. This is what we get.

A craft game for developing memory and attention using a herbarium is ready. Interesting, colorful, useful.
Left:
- attach the cardboard with tape to the wall.
- find a simulated pointer with which we will point to numbers.
- call classmates or relatives.
The tournament is declared open.
