Cocktail for a romantic dinner
Why not, if it's tasty and unusual? This drink will create tropical aromas and a holiday mood. It will also envelop you in a halo of romance if you prepare it for your beloved (beloved).
Never opened a coconut? Don't be afraid, it's not difficult at all. And you can’t do without coconut, because it will provide the necessary sweetness, which is so necessary for a cocktail with romantic overtones.
Ingredients for two servings:
pineapple - half the fruit, water and sugar - two tbsp. l., coconut milk - 50–60 ml, coconut pulp - about 20 g, champagne - as needed.
Preparation:
Remove the outer skin from the coconut. This is usually easy to do with a hammer. You need to hold the nut suspended and hit the assistant with the blunt side in the middle of the fruit.
But sometimes there are mistakes, as in this case. The nut cracked in the right places, but the shell did not come off, and, as luck would have it, it fell in half with it. There is debris in the milk.
But you shouldn't despair. Strain the milk.
Grate the coconut pulp into shreds. Place it on a plate to dry.
Make syrup from water and sugar. You will need it to decorate glasses. How to check how long it needs to be cooked? Sugar will dissolve, cool.
Then dip the glasses in it alternately and in coconut shavings.
While your beauty dries, get busy with the pineapple. Peel and squeeze the juice out of it. Here's another little trick that helps save not only time. For example, if you have a large juicer, why use it for so many products. That’s why you don’t have to clean it, but simply cut off half to make it more convenient to use a regular citrus juicer.
Pour pineapple juice into cold coconut milk. Beat them until smooth.
Pour the pineapple-coconut mixture into glasses and top up with champagne. Serve with pineapple pieces sprinkled with coconut. And may your romantic dinner be a success!
