You've never cooked chicken in the oven so deliciously!
Chicken can be prepared in a variety of ways, but is always delicious. How do the Greeks suggest serving chicken? For this, local chefs have a proprietary recipe for a marinade based on the most delicate classic (or “Greek”, if you like) yogurt, which, despite its neutral taste, gives the dish extraordinary tenderness and a special aroma. And the proposed recipe for preparing chicken meat is an ideal option for those who adhere to the principles of dietary nutrition: low-calorie, satisfying and incredibly tasty. Shall we try?
Ingredients:
- Chicken drumsticks (hams or wings) – 350 grams;
- Classic yogurt (without fillers, 1 glass) – 240 ml;
- Olive (analogue vegetable) oil (≈ 20 ml) – 2 tbsp;
- Oregano - 1 tsp;
- Salt - 1 tsp;
- Black pepper - 1 tsp;
- Dried parsley - 1 tsp;
- Garlic clove – 2 pcs.
Description of the stages of the cooking process:
1. Rinse the chicken meat, cut into small slices and place on a paper towel to drain excess water.
2. Prepare the yogurt marinade by mixing the sour milk base, spices and olive oil.
3.Finely chop the garlic and add to the sauce.
4. Place the chicken meat in a tight plastic bag and fill it with dressing. We tie the bag, mix the contents well and place the “blank” in the refrigerator for half an hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius and grease the grill grate with vegetable oil.
6. Place pieces of meat on the grill, leaving gaps between them, and bake for 40 minutes. Don't forget to place an additional sheet under the grill into which the marinade will drain.
7. Place the finished pieces on plates, pouring yogurt dressing over them.
