Paper whale
When telling your child about animals, you should definitely focus on whales. This is the largest mammal, especially when it comes to blue whales. The baby’s acquaintance with this animal can be continued by creating crafts – making a blue whale from paper using the technique origami.
To work, you will need to take a square sheet of blue paper (necessarily one-sided) and a black felt-tip pen.
We fold our sheet diagonally.
Then we make another fold along a different diagonal and unfold the square.
We bend the upper right part down (towards the midline), forming a triangle.
Now the same fold needs to be made on the upper left side.
A fold has formed in the middle that needs to be straightened and brought out.
The resulting fold must be pulled to the left, then folded to the right, aligning the fold with the midline.
Let's turn the blank of the future whale over to the other side and simultaneously rotate it 180 degrees.
We start making folds at the top. But first we bend it on the left side, forming a narrow triangle.
After this we bend it on the right side.
Once again we fold the right side towards the middle horizontal line.
We unfold the blank of the whale to the other side.
On the left side we bend the corner to the wrong side, thus forming the front part of the whale.
On the right side we make a tail for our blue whale.
All that remains is to draw an eye with a black felt-tip pen, and our paper whale is ready.
