Dad is the most important and beloved person in everyone's life. Sometimes even for many, dad is even more important or replaces mom. Therefore, whatever one may say, I always really want to please my beloved dad on any holiday, to please him even with a small gift, either on his birthday, or on an anniversary, or just to please his daddy and surprise him. So, in order to surprise your dad, you can make beautiful and unusual cards with your own hands using the technique scrapbooking. This will be doubly pleasant and interesting for your dad. Now we will consider such a master class.
To make postcards we need to take:
Let's start with the card basics. To do this, unfold the sheets of cardboard and cut out a quadrangle 18*20 cm.
Now we divide each in half along the side that is 20 cm and draw a bend line.
Add them up and get both bases. Additionally, you can make insert strips inside the cards so that you can insert a banknote into them. We cut strips 3-3.5 cm * 18 cm; if you have a border hole punch, you can make the strips curly on one edge. If you don’t have a hole punch, then you can leave the strips straight and normal without any problems. We coat the edges with a glue stick and glue it inside the card on the left side.
We cut out two rectangles from whatman paper to paste inside the postcards for a congratulatory inscription.
We measure out 20 cm pieces from the ribbons and immediately burn the edges with a lighter. We glue pieces of ribbon in the center of each postcard so that later the cards can be tied into bows. The basics have been prepared, now you can safely move on to the next stage, we work with scrap paper.
From each we measure two rectangles for each 9.5*17.5 cm postcard. One rectangle can be immediately glued to the back of the bases, and we will decorate the other rectangles for the front of the card. We lay out pictures, circles, cut out branches and gears, and try them on first. We also cut out two inscriptions for our beloved daddy.
We glue all the decorations and then sew them on by machine. Now these scrap quadrangles to the basics. We sew both cards front and back.
We glue half beads, lace and a button. We tie the bows and get these cards for our beloved daddy. Thank you for your attention! Good luck to everyone and see you again!
