Postcard for May 9: “Bouquet of Carnations”
It's always nice to make a greeting card with your own hands. If we are talking about the holiday of May 9, then this, of course, should be a bouquet of carnations made of colored paper.
The red flower is a symbol of victory, and together with the St. George ribbon it will decorate any postcard or holiday collage.

Instructions for creating a card
A mandatory element that a postcard for May 9 must contain is a St. George ribbon. You can use ready-made ones purchased at the store. Or you can make a two-color ribbon from colored paper.
Cut one edge of the tape in a “V” shape. We twist the second one into a tube. Glue the blank onto the base of the postcard made of white paper. Our bouquet will come out of the ribbon. Draw flower stems with a felt-tip pen.
Let's make flowers from red colored paper. Fold three squares with a side of 3 cm in half twice.
We round the cut. Cut out the cloves on it.
Let's expand. Learned how to prepare a carnation flower. We make several cuts directed towards the center of the flower, but do not complete them.
We cut out the sepals from green paper. We make three of them.
Fold the flower blank in half. Glue on the sepals. Attach the flower to the end of the stem with glue. You can fold the flower blank several times. In this case, you will end up with a bud or an unopened flower.
Cut out several thin long sheets of green paper. We curl them with scissors.
We cut the wide edge at an acute angle. Glue the leaves to the stem.
The bouquet of carnations is ready for May 9!
This blank can be used as a completed card or complemented with other decorative elements, made with a congratulatory inscription or pasted on a colored background.
