Homemade LED lamp 3 W
Energy-saving fluorescent lamps are not as durable and gradually fail. Their time is slowly coming to an end and they are being replaced by LED lamps. LED lamps consume significantly less energy, are more durable and are not fussy.
In this article I will show you how easy it is to convert a fluorescent lamp into an LED lamp. A homemade design will be no worse than a purchased one.
Assembling an LED lamp from an energy-saving fluorescent light bulb
We will need:
Non-working fluorescent lamp.
A sheet of plastic or any other hard plastic. As an option - a plastic bucket for mayonnaise or ice cream.
Radiator with LED. You can buy it for a small price here: LED 1 W And heat sink for LED. All items are three pieces each.
Driver for power LEDs. Also buy - HERE.
We carefully disassemble the lamp without breaking the glass bulb.
The board with the parts can be soldered into elements and used in the future. And the luminescent bulb must be thrown away, but not in a regular trash bin, but taken to special points or a collection point for these lamps.Every city has these.
In the end, the only thing we will need is this base with part of the housing.
We cut out a circle from plastic, having previously drawn a cutting line.
Solder LEDs to the heat sinks with a soldering iron, having previously lubricated the bottom LED heat-conducting paste. We glue the radiators with LEDs onto a plastic circle with super glue.
Connecting all three LED sequentially.
We make a small hole in the center and pass the power wires through.
Connecting LEDs to the driver.
Solder the driver to the lamp base.
We insulate with electrical tape or heat shrink.
We put the driver inside. Glue the circle with LEDs to the lamp body.
All is ready. We check by plugging in the lamp.
The light is just great! Such a light bulb will last a very long time and will save you significant energy, and therefore money.
