Weaving baubles “Rainbow”
For Rainbow Bauble Day, like for any other day, we will need multi-colored floss threads. In our case, these are the colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Cut a piece approximately 1 meter long from a skein of thread (if your wrist is full, then the length should accordingly be longer).
Then we lay out the cut threads according to the arrangement of the colors on the rainbow and carefully collect them together, trying not to disturb the order of the colors.

At a distance of about 10-12 cm from the edge, we tie them together into a knot. For convenience, the knot can be attached with a pin to the bedspread if you are weaving on the sofa, or to your trouser leg if on your knees.

Next, we lay out the threads like rays, one after another, following the sequence of colors. We start weaving from the left edge.

We take the second thread in our right hand, and with our left hand we wrap it with the first thread.

Tighten the knot and repeat the procedure again with the same threads. Next, we put the second thread, which was held in the right hand, to the left, carrying it under the first.
Then we take the third thread in our right hand and wrap it with the one that was originally the first and remains in our left hand.Tighten the two knots in the same way.

We weave the whole row in the same way.
We start weaving the next row again from the left side in the same way. It is worth noting that there is no need to tighten the knots very tightly, but “very weak” weaving will not bring good results.
Without changing the technique, we also weave the entire bauble, not forgetting to leave about 10 cm of thread at the end for the lock.
A lock, in essence, is threads divided into three parts and woven into a regular braid.

You need to adjust the length of the lock yourself by trying the bauble on your hand. Before making the top part of the lock, you must remember to undo the large knot.

Fenechka is ready! By experimenting with color combinations, you can achieve amazing results.
