Champagne dressed up as a Christmas tree for the New Year's table
Don’t know how to make an original decoration for the New Year’s table with your own hands? Then this master class is for you!
There is a bottle of champagne on every table on New Year's Eve, isn't there? In order to present this seemingly familiar attribute of the holiday in an original way, I propose to make a New Year’s outfit for it.
I prepare approximately 6 m of green satin ribbon 2.5 cm wide, gold braid, sew-on rhinestones, red satin ribbon 2.5 cm, decor in the shape of snowflakes, beads on a string, rubber bands, a needle and thread, two sheets of thick cardboard, glue, scissors, a pencil and a ruler.
I draw and cut out templates from paper. I glue the neck and base together (I used covers from a sketchbook).
I cover the neck with green tape.
Then I cut the tape into strips of about 10 cm.
I fold each one in half, coat it with glue and apply it to the base, forming the first row. You can secure the so-called needles with a rubber band for money.
I move on to the second row.
And so on until the top of the cylindrical part.
I decorate the collar of the outfit and the junction of the neck and skirt with golden braid.
I put a garland of beads under the stationery rubber band.
I glue snowflakes onto the needles.
For the crown, I cut out a strip of cardboard 2.5 cm high and a length equal to the circumference of the neck. I close it into a ring and glue it together.
I cover it with green tape.
I decorate it with golden ribbon. Now my Christmas tree is the queen of the New Year's table!
I sew a bow from a red ribbon, decorate it with a snowflake and glue it to the crown.
The forest beauty is ready! The advantage of this outfit is not only its originality, but also its practicality due to the fact that it is removable. It can be used for several years.
