4 unusual ways to start a fire
Being in nature for a long time, a person needs to light a fire, but as luck would have it, the matches become damp and do not heal. There are several ways to light fires using improvised means that are successfully used by people in our time. We offer you four options for initiating the combustion process.
To implement this option, perform the following steps:
Remove the battery from the phone.
Take a piece of foil from a candy or chocolate wrapper and tear off a narrow strip in the shape of the letter P, with a narrower part in the middle.
We apply the ends to the battery terminals and the foil in the middle part ignites.
We bring the flame to the piece of paper and after it flares up, add small twigs, as they flare up, add more fuel and get a normal fire.
From a non-working lighter, we use only the piezoelectric element, for which we need to do the following:
We take the lighter, remove the metal part from it and remove the piezoelectric element from the body.
Shake the deodorant and check the performance of the bottle, spray a piece of paper from it.
The alcohol contained in the spray is highly flammable.
We bring the wire from the piezoelectric element to the metal part of the lighter and press the button. A spark flashes, which is enough to ignite the piece of paper.
Next, we light a fire, as described in the previous section.
This method of producing fire is based on the effect of concentrating sunlight using a parabolic reflector. Lighting a fire occurs in the following sequence:
We take a can of Fanta, beer or cola, maybe a full one, and a piece of chocolate.
Rub the concave bottom with the sweet product.
Using a napkin, remove excess and bring the surface to a shine.
We position the jar so that the reflected rays of the sun hit a dry leaf or any other flammable material.
Having waited for an open fire, we begin to light a fire according to all the rules.
This option for making fire involves a sharp jump in temperature at the short circuit point. This is done as follows:
Requires a charged Krona battery.
We bring a bundle of metal wool to its contacts.
A large current passes through the conductive fibers, and they become very hot.
We dip the hot cotton wool onto a piece of paper prepared in advance and, after ignition, use it to ignite the flame of a large fire.
Method one: using a mobile battery and foil
To implement this option, perform the following steps:
Remove the battery from the phone.
Take a piece of foil from a candy or chocolate wrapper and tear off a narrow strip in the shape of the letter P, with a narrower part in the middle.
We apply the ends to the battery terminals and the foil in the middle part ignites.
We bring the flame to the piece of paper and after it flares up, add small twigs, as they flare up, add more fuel and get a normal fire.
Method two: faulty lighter and deodorant
From a non-working lighter, we use only the piezoelectric element, for which we need to do the following:
We take the lighter, remove the metal part from it and remove the piezoelectric element from the body.
Shake the deodorant and check the performance of the bottle, spray a piece of paper from it.
The alcohol contained in the spray is highly flammable.
We bring the wire from the piezoelectric element to the metal part of the lighter and press the button. A spark flashes, which is enough to ignite the piece of paper.
Next, we light a fire, as described in the previous section.
Method three: aluminum can and chocolate bar
This method of producing fire is based on the effect of concentrating sunlight using a parabolic reflector. Lighting a fire occurs in the following sequence:
We take a can of Fanta, beer or cola, maybe a full one, and a piece of chocolate.
Rub the concave bottom with the sweet product.
Using a napkin, remove excess and bring the surface to a shine.
We position the jar so that the reflected rays of the sun hit a dry leaf or any other flammable material.
Having waited for an open fire, we begin to light a fire according to all the rules.
Method four: crown and steel wool
This option for making fire involves a sharp jump in temperature at the short circuit point. This is done as follows:
Requires a charged Krona battery.
We bring a bundle of metal wool to its contacts.
A large current passes through the conductive fibers, and they become very hot.
We dip the hot cotton wool onto a piece of paper prepared in advance and, after ignition, use it to ignite the flame of a large fire.
