Spear for sport or small game hunting
Once I thought that I could throw darts, knives, and axes, but I had never tried to throw a spear. With this thought in mind, I got down to business. The first step was thinking about and finding the right materials. So, we will need: any aluminum pipe from 1 to 2 meters, an old unnecessary knife, two bicycle handlebar covers and cotton wool. The only tools you need are a hammer and a knife.

First you need to take a knife. If there are wooden or plastic pads on its handle, then you need to take them so that only the metal part remains. In my case, the knife was already without them. Next you need to try to push the back part into the pipe. If she fits in, then everything is fine. If, like mine, it doesn’t fit, then use a hammer to gently crush the pipe to the length of the back of the knife. After this we insert the knife. Next, we insert cotton wool into the cracks between the pipe and the knife. This is necessary for compaction. You need to insert it very tightly, otherwise the knife will dangle and may fall out. Next, use a hammer to flatten the pipe to finally secure the knife. Attention! It is not necessary to flatten the entire pipe, but only at the inserted part of the knife.

In order for the spear to fly straight and be easy to throw, you need to take a few simple steps. First, balance it on your finger and mark this place. Next you will need 2 bike handlebar pads. Rubber pads are needed, and preferably the size of the pipe. Next, you need to cut off that part of the lining that does not have a protrusion. The protrusion is where the little finger is when riding a bicycle. We do the same with the second overlay. Then we put both of them on the pipe, in the same marked place. All is ready.

How to throw. If you need to throw harder, then you need to grab the handle with your fist, and if you need accuracy, then with three fingers, just like you hold a pen when writing. With a strong swing, the knife sticks into the willow by 2 - 3 centimeters. You can also hunt hares or foxes with it. When hunting, it is better to climb a tree, this way you can achieve better accuracy.
