Simple egg dyeing process
We prepare everything necessary for coloring Easter eggs with food coloring.
Boil white chicken eggs hard in advance for 10 minutes. Then place the eggs in a container with cold water to cool. After cooling the boiled eggs in water, wipe them dry. After which you can begin the main process. Take one boiled egg and place it in the center of a paper napkin.
Next, wrap the egg in this napkin, as if placing the egg in a paper bag. Press the napkin tightly onto the egg and secure the ends of the napkin with an elastic band.
When all the eggs are wrapped in napkins, place them in the cells of the egg tray.
Let's start diluting food coloring. We prepare each dye separately in a small container. Pour the entire sachet into a glass. Pour 2 tbsp into it. l. hot water and 1 tsp. table vinegar.
Now we put rubber gloves on our hands and begin to “create”. In one hand we take the egg packed in a napkin, and with the other hand, using a cotton swab, we apply dyes one by one onto the napkin on the egg. Without sparing the colors, we apply them liberally to the napkin so that the dyes penetrate through the napkin to the egg shell. Lightly press the napkin onto the egg with your hands. While working, do not touch the ends of the napkin, tied with an elastic band. If we try to lift the egg by the tail of the napkin, the wet napkin will tear and the egg will fall.
In this way we color all the prepared eggs. Having placed the eggs in the colored napkins back into the cells of the tray, we leave them to paint for 1.5-2 hours.
After the time has passed, remove the napkins from the eggs and grease the eggs with vegetable oil.
