It turns out that a 3D pen is just a godsend for any tiler
When laying tiles in corners, especially in the presence of pipes and other communications, it becomes difficult to trim. It is necessary not only to repeat the complex contour, but also to take into account the gaps for the spacer crosses. Custom templates specially made for this require the ability to handle them; in addition, transferring dimensions with their help is not so easy and quick.
The best way to do this is to use a 3D pen.
What you will need:
The principle of using a 3D pen to mark trim
You need to draw a contour with a 3D pen where you want to lay the tiles. The plastic is applied around the perimeter first. The result is a frame that needs to be reinforced with crossbars to give it rigidity.
The reinforced plastic outline is removed, applied to the whole tile from the front side and outlined with a marker.
Next, trimming is done with a grinder, taking into account the gap for the seams.
This way, you can cut out the perfect piece, maintaining all dimensions.
