The doctor told how to improve lung function to prevent pneumonia
Every person's lungs are damaged to some extent by fibrosis, which is a consequence of suffering from colds, especially pneumonia. These formations can be developed and removed by applying daily exercises. The absence of fibrosis is the key to healthy lungs and fewer negative consequences from diseases, even viral pneumonia.
We work on the sternum area
It is necessary to palpate the sternum area, pressing it with your fingers. If discomfort occurs in a certain place when pressed, this indicates the presence of fibrotic connective tissue there.
You need to try to press your shoulder to this place. This movement will be accompanied by discomfort or pain in the lung. It is necessary to find a position of the shoulder, moving it down or up, in which the pain will be less. You need to stay in this position for 10-30 seconds. This exercise is repeated several times. It improves blood circulation in the lungs, and stretches connective tissues, reducing the stiffness they cause.
Diaphragm separation
In a standing position, the palms are placed under the costal arch. Then, while relaxing your stomach, you should try to roll your body onto your hands, pressing them into the abdominal area under the ribs. At the same time, the palms themselves simply remain in place, the movement is performed by the whole body. Hands are held in this position for 1 minute. This exercise has a positive effect on the diaphragm.
Compression
One hand is placed with the palm on the opposite shoulder. The second is on the lower 5 ribs on her side. You need to try to slightly bring your hands towards each other, deforming the body, and wait 10-20 seconds. At the end you should feel relaxed or warm. Then the same is done on the other side.
Fibrosis separation
In a standing position, one hand is placed on the lower 5 ribs on the opposite side of it. The second rises up and stretches moderately for 10-30 seconds. This movement stretches the fibrosis itself. The same is done on the other side.
Sprain of the superior pericardial and sternopericardial ligaments
One hand rests on the seventh cervical vertebra (the most prominent one), and the second on the chest below the throat. Next, light tension is applied. The top hand goes up and the bottom hand goes down. The tension is held for 10 seconds, then the palm in front is moved to the other part of the sternum and the stretch is repeated. The entire chest is worked up to the solar plexus by changing the position of the hands.
These exercises will develop your lungs and make your breath deeper. All this will have a positive effect on the heart and vascular system, and will also reduce the risk of pneumonia.
