How to repair a light bulb in 5 minutes without spare parts
The declared resource of LED light bulbs from most manufacturers is greatly overestimated, so they have to be changed more often than we would like. Mostly they fail due to burnout of one of the LEDs, causing the electrical circuit inside them to open. If you close the contacts of the burnt out diode, the lamp will work again. The entire repair process takes literally 5 minutes.
What you will need:
- pliers;
- soldering iron;
- solder;
- flux or rosin.
LED lamp repair process
The bulb of a burnt-out lamp must be removed. You just need to tear it off the sealant without turning it, since it sits on a pin.
As a result, access to the LEDs will open.
It is necessary to determine which of them is burnt out. It will be dull, black, or have a dark dot in the center.
Burnt out Light-emitting diode is deleted. To do this, it is simply crushed with pliers. Then the contacts that open underneath are lubricated with flux and soldered together with a drop of solder. There are times when several burn out at the same time. LEDs. Each of them needs to be closed.
After this, the light bulb will work.
All that remains is to put the flask in place, aligning the pins. You can solder in this way up to 30% LEDs, if more, then the remaining ones will burn out very quickly due to an increase in the voltage applied to each of them.
