Not a bad idea for using an old battery
Old batteries are thrown away, sold for scrap, or dismantled for lead. At the same time, no one is interested in their plastic body, and in vain. You can make an excellent organizer out of it.
What you will need:
- old battery;
- hacksaw for metal;
- file;
- sandpaper;
- degreaser;
- spray hammer paint.
Organizer manufacturing process
For a non-working battery, you need to cut off the cover with a hacksaw. The cut is performed as smoothly and accurately as possible. First, the plastic is cut in a circle, then the lead contacts inside are cut off.
Lead plates are pulled out of the cans. Then the burrs from the hacksaw are removed with a file. The glossy outer surface is sanded with sandpaper to make it matte.
The box is degreased and painted with aerosol hammer enamel.
After it dries, the organizer is ready. You can store pencils, scribers, cores, drills, mounting knives with blades, etc. in it.
