container with sand;
watering can.

The process of cutting roses

The secret of the simplicity and reliability of this cutting method is that many cuttings are prepared with a large supply. As a result, even with the worst care and minimal survival of seedlings, you can get a sufficient number of plants. And so, from roses you need to cut as many cuttings as possible, 2-3 buds long.

Their lower edge must be cut at an acute angle to increase the area for moisture absorption. The leaves on the cuttings do not need to be removed, as when planting under a jar. We take in quantity, so such subtleties are unnecessary. Retaining the leaves will speed up the development of the plant until the flowering phase, although it will reduce the chances of rooting at the initial stage.

Next, prepare a container with a drainage hole into which sand is filled.

Cuttings are stuck into it with oblique cuts down and filled with plenty of water.

After this, the roses are watered every day.

Within a month, the cuttings will take root, this can be assessed by the improvement in the condition of the leaves and the appearance of new shoots.

After this, they need to be transplanted into nutritious soil. Rooting ability in sand is quite high, the likelihood of root mold appearing in it is minimal, and besides, cuttings stick into it well and are pulled out without damaging the roots. You can propagate flowers using this method all summer long.
