How to make a round 12 V lamp from an LED strip for any needs
For any conditions and needs, be it auto repair or shooting high-quality photos and videos, good light is important. To do this, you can assemble a lamp with very bright homemade lamps. They are made from ordinary LED daylight strip.
Materials:
- 1 1/2" Matte Clear Acrylic Tube;
- plastic plugs for the tube – 2 pcs.;
- two-core wire;

- round wooden slats 12 mm.
Lamp making process
You need to cut a piece from the acrylic tube as long as you need the lamp.
Its sawn end is processed with a file.
You also need to cut a wooden round profile of the same length.
You need to drill holes for self-tapping screws at its ends.
A two-core wire is taped to the edge of the profile.
A self-adhesive LED strip is wound from above in a spiral, turn to turn, to the end of the profile.
The wire laid before this should be located under it. Excess tape is cut off.
A wire folded underneath is soldered to the opposite end of the tape.
At the beginning of winding, it is necessary to connect the second end of the same wire, as well as the tape itself, to the adapter. This creates a two-way connection. This will allow all LEDs to shine equally brightly, and will also prevent overheating of the conductive paths.
In the prepared plugs you need to drill holes in the center for self-tapping screws. One of them also requires cutting out a window for the connector.
The first plug is screwed to the profile with tape. It is then inserted into the tube.
A second plug with a glued connector is screwed onto the reverse side.
Using this method, you can make several lamps and use them to assemble a lamp of any configuration.
