So, for this we need the following ingredients:
- 5 medium potatoes;
- 1 large onion;
- 1 small beet;
- 1 medium carrot;
- 150 g of tomato paste;
- 300 g chicken fillet;
- 250 g white cabbage;
- 30 g vegetable oil;
- salt and sugar to taste.

After preparing the products, let's move on to the process of preparing our borscht. Boil chicken meat (you can use veal, pork) for half an hour in salted water. Then we take out the meat, pouring the broth into a separate pan, in which we will continue to cook the borscht.

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and add them to the boiling broth. Next, add cabbage, cut into thin strips, to the broth. At the same time, clean all the vegetables by thoroughly rinsing them with water.Finely chop the onion and begin sautéing it over medium heat in a preheated frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil. Grind the carrots and beets on a fine grater, adding them to the onion.

Stirring, we will saute the vegetables for about 10 minutes, after which we will pour tomato paste into them, and also add salt and sugar to taste. In about 5 minutes our vegetable dressing for borscht will be ready. Now you can safely add it to the broth with potatoes and cabbage. In about 15-20 minutes our dish can already be called ready-made borscht and everyone can be invited to dine.

Don't forget that sour cream and garlic will give the borscht an even richer taste. Enjoy your meal!
