New Year's composition
Nothing will decorate a holiday table better than a New Year's composition with candles, which we will make with our own hands.
What materials do we need for this:
• Gold sheet of mother-of-pearl cardboard, half A45 format;
• Handmade candle;
• Gold mesh large and small green and gold with lurex;
• Narrow white tinsel about 2.5-3 meters;
• Small red balls for the Christmas tree;
• Christmas tree cones;
• PVA glue;
• Dry glitter of different colors;
• Organza ribbon, gold and red, with New Year’s designs;
• Glue brush;
• Glue gun;
• Scissors;
• Ordinary thick cardboard;
• Gold beads on a thread;
• Decor: artificial fruits, bells;
• Needle with thread.
We wash the cones, dry them well and first spread them with PVA glue, and then apply dry multi-colored glitter with a brush. Leave to dry. We place the candle on the cardboard and trace it with a small margin. This is a smaller circle, and we draw the larger one approximately 4 cm wider around the entire circle.
Cut out the prepared small wreath template. We apply it to the gold cardboard and draw a large circle.
Cut out a circle from cardboard, this will be the footrest. Now we take white tinsel and glue the edge with a glue gun.
And we wrap the cardboard wreath in a circle with tinsel, and glue the edge with a gun. Now we wrap the wreath with gold beads on a thread.
Glue the wreath onto the gold cardboard using a gun. Now we make different bows from ribbons and mesh, as in the photo below. Sew two red bells in the center of one bow. The decor is ready, now you can glue it to the wreath.
We insert a candle in the center, glue a bow with bells in front, then glue cones, fruits and small balls in a circle. Here is our result of independent creation!
