Thread men

Every thrifty craftswoman keeps leftover colored threads at home. Try making simple crafts with them for the kids with your own hands. Funny and kind little people will cause genuine delight in kids, and the process of making them will entertain children and develop their motor skills well.

You will need:



• Colored threads (for knitting or embroidery) in two colors
• Scissors
• Colored paper (blue, red and white)
• Two rectangular pieces of cardboard (larger and smaller)
• Glue

The process of making men:



1. Take a larger rectangular piece of thick cardboard. Its height should be equal to the length that you plan to give your fakes.
2. In the middle of this rectangular cardboard, carefully wind threads of the main color. This will be the main part of your future little man.
3. Slowly remove the threads from the cardboard and tie them on one side with a thread. This is done so that they do not crumble.
4. Now make the hands for your little man. To do this, wrap a thread of the same color and in the same way around a smaller piece of cardboard.
5. Remove it and tie both edges with a thread, stepping back a little from both ends of the base of the hands.



6. Make a head for the man. Leave a distance sufficient for the head at the base of its body, and tie the top of the base with thread (carefully hide its tip).
7. Under the resulting head, divide the threads into two parts and thread the arms you made so that they protrude evenly on both sides.



8. Tighten the body below with thread. So you have such parts as the head, torso and arms of your funny little man.



9. Cut the lower part of the base with scissors, now in front of you is a little girl.
10. Attach hair to her head. Make them from threads of a different color. Choose the length you need for your hair. Attach these threads to the head, so that the edges hang the same length on its sides. At the center of the head, attach the thread hair to the crown.
11. Cut out a mouth from red colored paper, and make eyes from blue and white paper. Glue them to the base with glue and the face is ready.



12. In order to make a boy, the skirt (the basics of a girl) must be divided into two equal parts. Secure them at the feet with threads. We got legs.
13. Just like for a girl, make eyes and a mouth out of pieces of colored paper for your boy.
