New Year card in eco style
New Year is the most fabulous and kind holiday, a time of hope and cheerful congratulations. On this wonderful day, I want to show my special attitude towards friends and loved ones. To do this, you just need to give a handmade New Year's card. With all the warmth and love, she will tell you about your bright feelings.
So, to make a New Year's card in eco-style you will need:
1. Kraft paper 120-150 g thick. A4 format.
2. Scissors, pencil, ruler.
3. Designer paper from the New Year's collection.
4. Double-sided tape and glue gun.
5. Brads (small metal decoration).
6. Stamp, acrylic stamp block and brown ink pad.
7. Natural color raffia (special paper tape).

First, let's mark a sheet of kraft paper. Measure 10 cm along the short edge and draw a line along the sheet with a pencil. Then we divide the long part of the sheet into 2 equal parts and bend the sheet in the middle.

Cut the sheet in half along the pencil markings. We ended up with two blank booklets for the postcard. The one that turns out to be a little wider is set aside. From the rest we cut out 2 rectangular parts, slightly smaller in size than the base of the future postcard.

We sew these 2 parts with a double stitch on a sewing machine. This way they will look neat and finished. One of them will become the “face” of our future card, and we will glue the second one inside, with a congratulation written on it. If you don't have a sewing machine, you can do it by hand. Such a line will perfectly emphasize the individuality of our postcard.

We attach the silicone seal to an acrylic block and, using an ink pad, stamp a congratulation on one of the stitched parts of the card.

Using an awl or sharp pencil, carefully poke a hole in the paper for decoration.

Now you can insert brads here. On the reverse side we bend the metal tails well so that they do not puff up. If you do not have such decoration, then use half beads, which are freely sold in any sewing store.

We cover the inside of our workpiece with double-sided tape, paying special attention to the edges.

Carefully, trying to do this as accurately and evenly as possible, glue it to the base.

Now we cut out 2 small squares and a rectangle from designer paper with New Year's patterns. Their sizes can be arbitrary.

Using tape, we attach raffia ribbons to the resulting future “gifts”. We tie 4 small bows from it.

Using a hot gun, we glue our “boxes” so that they rise slightly. It is important to distribute them beautifully and harmoniously on the card. Then for each "present» Glue a raffia bow on top.

The result is such an interesting and stylish thing. All the materials used are natural, discreet shades, but together they create a unique eco-friendly postcard design, which has been so popular lately.
