Snowman made from sock and rice
It's time to prepare New Year's present. What can please grandparents and teachers the most - of course, children's crafts. But if age does not allow you to do it yourself, then parents also contribute. But, do not forget that it is important for the child to participate in the manufacturing process.
Today we decided to make a little snowman as a gift for the teacher.
To make it you needed:
•long white sock – 1 pc.
• fishing line – 0.5 m
•blue ribbon – 30 cm
•buttons – 2 pcs.
•rice – 700 gr
•Super glue
•markers – red and black
•scissors
Take a sock. We cut it below the heel. We leave the finger piece aside for now, we will need it later.
Take the rest and turn it inside out. Carefully and firmly tie one side and turn it back over.
Fill the resulting “bag” with rice. [5.jpg]Give this opportunity to a child, he will be very grateful for it.
Carefully tie the top of the “bag”.
Cut off the part that sticks out.
We divide the “bag” into two spheres. The top sphere should be slightly smaller than the bottom. Separate these two parts with fishing line. So it turned out to be a snowman.
We use the lower part of the sock instead of a hat.
And we put it on our snowman’s head.
Using a black marker, draw two dots – eyes.
And red is the mouth.
Glue the buttons on the big belly with super glue.
And we tie a scarf of blue ribbon around our neck. So we got a beautiful and proud snowman. Oh, what joy!
