Crafts for the New Year from cotton pads
Don't know how to convey winter using scrap materials? It's simple! Take white, soft cotton pads. With their help, you can create a bunch of unusual accessories and souvenirs for the New Year. So, today I will help my son with a New Year's craft for kindergarten.
I prepared two packages of cotton pads (80 pieces), a stapler, glue, and a thick paper cone.
First you need to prepare needles for the Christmas trees. To do this, I fold the disk in half.
Then again.
I fasten it with a stapler, leaving the “ears”.
You need to prepare a lot of needles.
I glue the blanks onto the cone base.
Here's what I got!
For snowmen I take cotton pads, white and orange cotton swabs, glue, threads and a needle, red fabric, black and blue beads, scissors.
I divide the cotton pad into two parts, starting to sweep one half in a circle.
I tighten the thread a little.
Then I place the other half of the cotton pad in the center of the pompom. I'm tightening the strings. I do this very carefully, otherwise the disc will break.
For my dad's snowman I need three pompoms.
I glue the blanks together and make buttons and eyes from beads.
I make legs, arms and a nose from cotton swabs.
I cut out a small cap from fabric, decorate it with a white edging made from a cotton pad, and tie a scarf. What a funny snowman! This is Dad!
There are four of us in the family, I continue to create babies and a mother snowman using the same technique. What a friendly family I have!
So, the main elements of the New Year crafts completed, all that remains is to place them on the base. They can use thick cardboard, but I took a lid with sides from a cottage cheese pie. Filling the space with cotton pads, imitating fluffy snowdrifts.
I determine the place of the fluffy beauty.
I decorate the Christmas tree with a garland of beads and small bows.
I'm seating our friendly family of snowmen.
All that remains is to place the snowflake star in its rightful place.
