Ball of thread - Christmas tree decoration
Every winter, children and adults look forward to the New Year and Christmas. Festive dinner, decoration of the New Year's forest beauty, tangerine aroma. There will be many New Year's toys hung on the Christmas tree. It is enough to devote a little of your time and imagination to invent new jewelry. Even children will be happy to take part in this activity.
We will need:
1. Crochet thread, 25 meters.
2. Balloon.
3. Glue.
4. Two pieces of satin ribbon 2.5 centimeters wide, 15 centimeters long. Ribbon 0.5 * 15 centimeters.
5. Brocade ribbon 1*10 centimeters, 4 pieces.
6. Middle, bead.
7. Rhinestones for decoration.
8. Glue gun.
9. Scissors.
10. Needle and thread.

Step 1
We dilute PVA glue with water to the consistency of thick sour cream. Inflate the balloon to the desired size.
Step 2
Dip the threads into glue and wait a little until they are saturated. At least 10 minutes must pass.

Step 3
Carefully wind the thread around the balloon, trying to close the empty spaces.

Step 4
Leave the workpiece for at least 12 hours for the glue to harden. Periodically, we try the work by touch. When the thread dries completely, it becomes hard.
Step 5
This stage requires special care! We sharply pierce the balloon with a needle, after it bursts, we pull out the remains through the holes. It’s okay if the ball of thread is slightly deformed; you can easily straighten it by hand. Remove the remaining dried glue using tweezers.

Step 6
We decorate our decoration with a bow. To do this, take two pieces of satin ribbon 15 centimeters long. We divide them one by one, marking the middle in half. We fold each edge of the tape towards the mark, overlapping each other 2 millimeters. We collect it on a thread, tighten it and wrap it. Straighten the resulting bow.

We make ponytails from brocade ribbon. Pieces 10 centimeters long are folded together at an angle of 25 degrees. We fasten with thread. Using a glue gun, we connect the parts of the bow and glue the middle. We cut the edges of the ribbons at an angle and singe them so that our decoration does not unravel in the future.

Step 7
From a piece of ribbon about 5 centimeters wide (about 15 cm long), we make a loop and attach it to the ball, pulling it through one of the threads, glue a bow, and decorate it with rhinestones or beads.

Having made several of these crafts, the decorations for the Christmas tree are ready.
