Master class: decorative balloon
Sometimes you really want to fly... And if it’s impossible to do this in reality, then you can always let your thoughts go on a long journey. We invite you to go to a country filled with inspiration and creativity and create an interesting decorative piece - a miniature balloon.
1. Cut out 6 identical sized elements from fabric: maximum length 20cm, width 6cm. They resemble the petals of a plant. Leave a 1cm seam allowance.
2. Using a sewing machine or by hand, sew together all the components one by one. The bottom edge remains free.
3. Turn out the shell of the ball and fill it with padding polyester. It is important that there are no gaps, but you shouldn’t fill it too tightly either.
4. Cut out a circle from the fabric according to the diameter of the hole in the base of the ball. Sew it along the contour.
5. To refine the bottom edge, we cover it with tape or braid.
6.We insert a thin wire into the rope and glue it to the ball along the vertical seam. There should be 3-4 such parts in total.
7. Using hot glue, we attach our racks to the inside of the basket. We decorate the ball with all kinds of ribbons, beads, and flowers. As a basket, you can use a cardboard blank, covered with fabric or ready-made from a flower shop.
The job is done - let's take off! This ball is perfect for decorating a child's room or a photo shoot.
