Knitted turtle toy

In order to knit such a charming turtle toy you will need: a hook, a needle, a glue gun, two eyes, padding poly, multi-colored yarn for knitting a hat and shell, green yarn for knitting a body. Let's start knitting with a bright and multi-colored shell. We put two loops of orange yarn on the hook and thread one loop through them, then knit in a circle. Then we knit as follows: we make a braid of 3-4 loops and thread the hook at a short distance. As a result, a hole should form.
Thus, we knit the shell and change the colors at our discretion. I would like to note that the more bright colors, the more colorful the turtle will be. The diameter of the shell should be about 21 cm.
Next, we knit the lower part of the turtle shell using green yarn. Using a regular crochet stitch, we knit a circle with a diameter of 18 cm.
For the turtle you will need to tie four legs and a tail.The paws and tail are knitted the same way, that is, you need to knit 5 identical parts. We knit a chain of 4 loops, and then connect them into a ring. We knit the first row in 7 single crochets, but in the second row we already knit 9 stitches. The third row consists of 13 columns. Then we knit 6 rows of 15 single crochets. One piece is ready. In the same way, you need to knit 4 more parts. We fill the paws with padding polyester, but the tail remains empty; there is no need to fill it.
We knit the head like this: we make a chain of 7 air loops and connect them into a ring. We knit one air loop and tie the resulting ring with nine single crochets. We increase the next row by 2 columns. Thus, the third row will consist of 17 loops, and the fourth of 26, so we knit until the sixth row. Then we knit three more rows. Now we begin to cut the loops, that is, we knit 4 rows of 22 loops, and then 6 more rows of 18 loops. The head should be 12 cm long. We fill the head with padding polyester.
We knit a hat from purple yarn first with regular knitting, and then we make holes like on a shell. We tie the edge of the hat with columns of white yarn.
When all the parts are connected, we begin assembling the turtle. We sew the head to the bottom of the shell, and sew the tail on the opposite side. To the left and right of the tail and head we sew two legs.
Use a purple thread to lightly grab the center of the cap and the head. We unfold the hat and give it the appropriate look.
We place the padding polyester on the lower part of the shell and cover it with the upper part. We thread a green thread through a needle and sew both parts of the shell together.At the end, if necessary, add padding polyester to the hole that has not yet been sewn up and sew it up completely.
We secure the turtle's head by sewing it to the shell so that it does not fall. Using a glue gun, glue on the turtle's eyes and mouth using red yarn.
