Wedding invitations with swans
The spring-summer 2015 wedding season is approaching and the trendy and fashionable color of this year is turquoise, also called Tiffany color. Accordingly, every modern young girl tries to correspond to the trends and preferences of the new season. Preparing for a wedding is a very serious and quite responsible matter, and therefore getting ready for a wedding is a troublesome matter. Every little detail is important so that everything goes at the highest level. There are also special wedding companies that deal with the complete design of a wedding celebration from scratch. It is good and necessary to seek and use the help of specialists, but there are certain little things that a young bride should take care of herself and carefully monitor everything. For example, the bride herself can choose a dressmaker, come up with the design of her wedding dress, or choose it from a catalog or wedding accessories store. And there is also such an important nuance, the list of guests and invitations for them. The number of guests at a wedding is different for each couple; many generally prefer to invite only family and closest friends.This doesn’t matter in principle, but the most important thing is to come up with wedding invitations that you can do yourself, and use additional skills and technical accessories scrapbooking. It is this master class that we will now get acquainted with, and for this we need to take the following:
• Watercolor paper, large sheet A3;
• Pearlescent white cardboard with butterfly embossing, sheet A4;
• Paper for scrapbooking in mint green color;
• Tiffany-colored die-cut hearts, 4 pcs. in total;
• 4 die-cut turquoise butterflies;
• 4 pictures with swans;
• Turquoise satin ribbon 0.5 cm wide;
• White callas, 4 flowers;
• Complex white stamens with mother of pearl;
• Stamens are white and blue;
• White narrow satin ribbon;
• Tiffany fabric flowers 15 mm in diameter;
• Pearl half beads 4 mm;
• Stamp “Invitation”;
• Sea green ink;
• Flower border hole punch;
• Acrylic block;
• Set of wedding acrylic stamps;
• PVA glue, double-sided tape, glue gun;
• Corner hole punch;
• Ruler, eraser, scissors and pencil.

First of all, let's prepare the basics for the invitations. We cut out four 14.5*16 cm rectangles from watercolor paper, then divide each of them in half and fold the already prepared bases measuring 8*14.5 cm. In total, the master class is designed for four wedding invitations, respectively, and the same amount of materials.

Now we will decorate the front parts of the invitations. To do this, we take embossed mother-of-pearl cardboard, scrap paper and pictures.

We cut out four rectangles of 7.7*6.5 cm from scrap paper and four rectangles of 7.7*9.5 cm from pearl cardboard. We take pictures measuring 5*5.2 cm.

We punch holes in the mother-of-pearl rectangles from the bottom with a floral hole punch, and stamp the scrap rectangles with the inscription “Invitation” in turquoise ink.

Now we glue the blanks together in pairs with PVA glue.

Now we glue turquoise hearts on top of them, and on top we glue pictures with double-sided tape.

We sew each picture on a machine. Now we attach the pictures below, wrap them and glue them on the back with a turquoise ribbon.

We now glue these scrap bases to the watercolor bases using pieces of double-sided tape.

We sew each one separately with a machine. We stamp inside each invitation the newlyweds, the rings and the invitation inscription. To do this, we put the stamp on an acrylic block, dip it in an ink pad and put an inscription or picture where necessary.

We prepare four bouquets of complex stamens, simple stamens and a flower, and tie bows from ribbons.

We glue decor for each invitation, as in the photo below. These are the fashionable and beautiful invitations for 2015. Thank you for your attention.
