Folding purple card "Happy Wedding Day"
The fashionable wedding color of 2016, probably, as many already know, has become lilac-violet. It seems both rich and very delicate at the same time. From this it follows that if this is a fashionable color of 2016, then, consequently, there will be a lot of weddings in this color. Every bride tries to keep up with fashion and decorates her wedding in this color in 2016. The color scheme of a wedding becomes visible even after receiving wedding invitations, so when you are invited to a wedding and given invitations, you already know that the wedding color is purple, so it would be appropriate to give an envelope or card in this color. In order not to resort to banal factory cards and to be quite original, you can make a beautiful wedding card in lilac. Moreover, this postcard will have a very interesting shape and will have a pocket for money. So to speak, a universal congratulatory option, both for wishes and for money.
To make a postcard we take:
• Watercolor blank size 19*33 cm;
• Scrap paper size 30*30 cm 2 sheets;
• Pictures on a wedding theme;
• Purple cutting: large and small hearts, an openwork napkin, butterflies, swans, champagne and two glasses;
• Curb hole punch;
• Stamp “Happy Wedding Day”, ink pad;
• Purple satin ribbon 25 mm wide;
• Pearl half beads;
• Purple lace;
• Fabric ribbon with white roses;
• Lighter, ruler, pencil;
• Paper hydrangea flowers;
• Scissors, glue stick, double-sided tape.
We start by making the base. We will have it in an interesting folding shape, so we lay it out horizontally in front of us.
We divide it into three parts of 11 cm each and draw bend lines. On one side, on the right, we retreat 11 cm from the bottom, put a point and connect it under the ruler with the upper left corner.
We cut it off and get this base.
Fold to the left and then to the right, now the completely complex base is ready.
Now we tint the entire base along the edges.
We cut two pieces of ribbon 20 cm long and burn the edges of the ribbons.
We glue the base of the card onto pieces of tape on the back. It turns out this is the type of workpiece.
Now we cut six scrap paper blanks, decorate some of them with border strips.
We decorate, now part of the blanks, glue the napkin and hearts, then glue the pictures and the inscription. We make a card from watercolor paper, tint it along the edges, and also tint all the pictures.
We sew all the pictures on a typewriter. Now we glue all the blanks onto the base from the front and from the inside.
Sew all three sides of the card separately.
Fold the card and glue the cut out elements inside.
We tie the card with a bow, glue various decorations, butterflies, ribbons, make a flower out of lace, and glue paper hydrangea flowers and half-beads inside the lace flower.
We put money in the pocket and tie a card.Thank you for your attention! See you again!
