Envelope for a newborn boy
The birth of a boy in any family is a very great joy, which relatives, friends and relatives want to share with the young parents. Everyone's cooking present not only for parents, but first of all for the newborn boy. With the birth of a baby, parents have new concerns that were previously unfamiliar to them. From the first days of life, a baby needs quite a lot: a stroller, a crib with a bed, diapers, baby vests, bottles, rattles, rompers, socks, baby food, etc. So the costs for parents are quite significant, so both parents and their baby will be happy with any gifts. Everyone can give a gift according to their own taste and discretion, the main thing is that it is useful and necessary for the baby. Well, in order not to rack your brains at all whether your gift will be needed or not, then you can give money in this case. A cash gift is increasingly preferred these days. Parents themselves will be able to choose and buy what they consider most important for their son.For a monetary gift, you need an envelope that will be preserved for a long time, and when the baby grows up, the parents will tell him who the gift was from. You can make an envelope with your own hands and technology will help us with this scrapbooking. Handmade gifts are very valuable and are now increasingly in demand. In this master class we will learn a scrapbooking lesson, thanks to which we will make an envelope for a cash gift for a newborn boy with our own hands.
Let's take the following:
• A sheet of light green pastel paper, A4 format;
• Paper for scrapbooking of two varieties in green and white colors (children's theme), different sizes;
• Color pictures for a newborn boy;
• Some watercolor paper for writing;
• Acrylic stamps: “Happy Valentine’s Day”, cake design;
• Black ink pad;
• White openwork lace;
• Rep ribbons, one blue with a children's print, and the second light green with white polka dots, both ribbons 1 cm wide;
• Narrow light green satin ribbon for ties;
• Cutting out butterflies and green dill, round openwork cutting out of baby paper;
• Flowers and leaves made of glued fabric in yellow, green and marsh colors;
• Large green hydrangea flower;
• Green and lettuce half-beads;
• Colored half bead with a diameter of 6 mm;
• Figured hole punch;
• Glue gun, pencil, ruler, scissors, double-sided tape, PVA glue, elastic band, sewing machine.

Take a sheet of pastel paper and cut a rectangle of 17*27 cm from it. Now turn it horizontally with the larger side and divide it into three parts of 9 cm each.

We make bending lines with scissors, fold the workpiece, and cut it obliquely on the third side, as in the photo. Now we are preparing the top decoration.

We cut out shapes from pictures and scrap paper with the same dimensions as in the photograph, and we get these shapes.

We glue one scrap paper to another with double-sided tape and sew it on with a sewing machine. We glue the picture with the bear onto scrap paper, and we also sew the picture with a machine.

We glue the picture with the stork onto a large rectangle of double scrap paper and stitch it with a machine. We cut off a piece of about 11 cm from each grosgrain ribbon, we also cut off a strip of white lace 11 cm and two strips of 15 cm from a narrow satin ribbon for a bow.

Place the lace and ribbon on the front rectangle and machine sew them together. We apply the second grosgrain ribbon at the bottom under the picture with the bear and also sew it on. Glue the ribbons for the bows to the front and back sides of the envelope onto the pastel blank. Now, using double-sided tape, we glue a large rectangle on the front part, with a bear in the inside, and on the back part in the center we glue a round cutout of children's paper, on top of the paper there is a picture with a Teddy bear and we sew the picture along the edge with a machine.

Use PVA glue to glue the envelope pocket. Use a hole punch to make a bow inside the envelope at the top. We stamp the cake stamp inside and outside the envelope in black ink.

We stamp “Happy Valentine’s Day” on watercolor paper, cut out and tint the inscription along the edges.

We glue the inscription under the picture with tape. All that remains is to glue it decor.

Glue butterflies, flowers, petals, dill and beads, as in the photo.

The handmade envelope is ready. Thank you for your attention and good luck!
