Men's mini gift box
It is necessary to prepare for any celebration in advance not only for the birthday person, but also for the guests who will be invited to his party. It doesn’t matter what kind of event it will be: birthday, anniversary, professional worker’s day, March 8, Defender of the Fatherland Day and others. The important point is that not only the birthday person, but also all the invited guests, are tense in organizing their holiday. As for women's gifts, it’s somehow a little simpler, especially if they are collective present. This could be money, household items, various small household appliances, jewelry, etc. But men are unique people and, in their essence, are a little like children. They need to be given special attention to make your gift special and memorable. Every woman always thinks about what to give her beloved husband for his birthday, because men’s tastes are completely different, let’s say even individual. You can give perfume, a shirt or tie of your favorite color, or you can give, for example, a gold chain with a cross. Whatever gift you choose, you definitely need beautiful and effective packaging for it. You finally decided, for example, to give a chain.So, to decorate it, you can make a small box with your own hands, but you can make it using technology scrapbooking.
Right now let’s get started and for this we take the following:
• Box diagram;
• Sand-colored leather-look cardboard, sheet A4;
• Men's paper for scrapbooking, several shades;
• Printouts in poetic form;
• Sand-colored paper butterflies;
• Black and white checkered ribbon;
• Figured hole punch;
• PVA glue;
• Double-sided tape;
• Pencil and ruler;
• Ink pad for tinting edges;
• Scissors;
• Glue gun;
• Lighter.
This is what the diagram of the box base and lid looks like. The folded box looks small, 6*6 cm, but it is exactly what you need to pack the chain.
So, according to the diagram, we measure the base and lid of the box.
We make bend lines and fold the blanks. From the remaining sheet we cut strips of 2.5 * 6 cm and make them into shapes with a hole punch.
Now we take man’s scrap paper and cut out 5.5 * 5.5 cm squares, a total of eight pieces.
We cut a 6*6 cm square for the lid. We cut out the printed inscriptions and stamp each one along the edges with an ink pad. The finished size of the lid is 6.5*6.5 cm.
Also, for the lid, we cut out four small rectangles 1.8 * 6 cm. We glue them with double-sided tape on the side walls of the lid.
We glue one inscription inside the box, and the second on the square of the lid. We sew each inscription separately on a typewriter. Glue the square onto the base of the lid. Turn the base of the box over and glue the squares with double-sided tape on the outside and inside of the box.
Use a sewing machine to sew each part of the lid and base separately. Glue the lid with PVA glue.
We tie the box with a ribbon and a bow. We glue butterflies inside.
Place the chain in the box and you're done!
