How to decorate a bottle of champagne for February 23
The holiday is just around the corner, I want to tell you and show you how you can prepare an original surprise for your man in a short time. My husband is a radio operator, so I was faced with a difficult task, but I did it!
I need: a bottle of champagne, glue, a skewer, a matchbox, Iris threads, scraps of fabric (I have 2 pockets left from a military uniform), satin ribbon, thick paper, buttons and flat beads for headphones. So, the first thing I do is make a station and cover the boxes with fabric.
Then I wrap the skewer with thread, it will serve as an antenna.
I'm preparing the fabric. I cut out one strip measuring 8*30 cm, and two strips measuring 18*13 cm.
So, first I glue a long strip just below the neck of the bottle, then I glue the lower part with the prepared parts (as shown in the photo).
I decorate the neck with a satin ribbon.
I move on to making the cap. First of all, I form the headdress itself from thick paper, and then cover it with fabric. Circle diameter 3 cm.
I glue the finished cap onto the bottle.
I decorate the raw edges with decorative braid.
To hang the station, I crocheted a strap; only 30 cm was enough for me. I decorated the radio operator’s uniform with buttons.
I move on to the headphones; to make them I took small buttons, semi-beads and a strip of thick black paper. I put all the parts together, and now I have these unusual headphones!
All that remains is to print and paste the symbols corresponding to the holiday and the radio operator is ready for battle!
Happy February 23rd!
