Card "Hearts"
Do you want to please your loved ones on holiday? Then a handmade postcard will be the best solution. Next will be a description of how to make a simple and very beautiful postcard with three hearts with step-by-step photos. This master class will allow everyone to complete this postcard without difficulty. And using simple materials that everyone has on hand allows you to get the job done without purchasing additional parts.
You need to prepare:
1. White cardboard;
2. Three different types of cardboard or thick paper in a red shade or with a pattern containing shades of red;
3. Red ribbon with polka dots (you can use plain, striped and other options);
4. Openwork white tape about 1 cm wide (self-adhesive or made of fabric);
5. Red button;
6. Thin lace;
7. Foam double-sided tape;
8. Red rhinestones;
9. Glue, simple pencil, tweezers, scissors.
We cut out a 21x21 cm rectangle from white cardboard, bend it in half and get a ready-made base for the postcard. Its dimensions will be 21x10.5 cm.
We take different types of paper or cardboard with a red design and cut out a heart from each. You should get three hearts of different sizes - from largest to smallest.
We cut two pieces of openwork tape 10.5 cm long. We glue it at the bottom of the base at a distance of 2-3 mm, as in the photo.
Cut 10.5 cm of red polka dot tape and glue it in the middle between the strips of openwork tape.
We take about 10 cm of lace and attach it to a button, as in the photo.
We tie a knot, then a bow.
Attach the button with a bow to the right of the ribbon.
We attach double-sided foam tape to the back of the previously cut hearts and attach the largest heart to the base of the card at the top left.
In the same way, attach the second heart a little lower to the right.
We attach the smallest heart to the lower left using foam tape.
Using tweezers, attach red rhinestones along the contour of the hearts.
A very beautiful, bright and incredibly easy to make DIY postcard is ready!
