New Year card with Christmas tree

New Year present can become a real puzzle for each of us. Sometimes it is so difficult to choose the most suitable gift for your friends, loved ones, and relatives. But there are also situations when it seems like a gift has already been chosen, but something is missing from it. Flowers - somehow not very New Year's. Candy is too banal. A New Year's card looks good, but it's not surprising.
What to do in such a situation? It's best to do something yourself. And the best option would be a handmade New Year's card. It is very pleasant to receive such a gift, and it also looks original.
To get the job done, let's take:
1. The base for a 15x15 cm postcard is dark green.
2. Light green and red cardboard.
3. Design paper - 2 with a pattern, 1 plain green.
4. Decorative green ribbon with polka dots.
5. Decorative lace.
6. Multi-colored rhinestones.
7. Green button.
8. Double-sided foam tape.
9. Glue, scissors, pencil, ruler.
Cut out a 14x14 cm square from light green cardboard. Glue squares of double-sided tape on the back side.

We attach the square to the dark green base in the center.

We cut out a square of red cardboard measuring 13x13 cm, and also attach it with double-sided foam tape on top of the light green square in the center.

Cut off approximately 13.5-14 cm of decorative ribbon and glue it to the left. We make a small bow from a ribbon and attach it at the bottom. You can attach the bow in another place at your discretion.

We cut out Christmas trees from designer paper. Their height should be about 7-9 cm, width 5-7 cm.

For one of the Christmas trees we make a decorative element in the form of a button with a bow made of lace. To do this, you need to put a lace on a button and tie a bow.

Then attach the element to the Christmas tree with glue.

Now we will decorate the second Christmas tree, green. Let's take the lace, attach it to the back with glue and start wrapping it around the Christmas tree. At the bottom at the back you should also fix the lace with glue.
