Boot cards
There are only a few days left until the New Year, and there is still so much to do. The pre-holiday bustle is always a pleasant chore, although quite cumbersome. There is so much work to do, as they say, that you don’t even know what to tackle first. First of all, you need to pull yourself together, gather your will into a fist and start by cleaning your house, creating a New Year's menu, decorating a beautiful and bright Christmas tree, hanging various New Year's decorations throughout the house and, of course, stocking up on gifts. Oh, there’s so much to do, but somehow you need to make the task easier for yourself and somehow unload a little. Cleaning, decorations and the Christmas tree can be divided among all members of your family, but you can take on the gifts yourself and prepare very interesting cards with different congratulations with your own hands. Since the coming of 2016 awaits us ahead with such a funny animal as a monkey, it will be very opportune to give us postcards with the image of a monkey. In addition, these cards will have a very interesting boot shape, so they will look very impressive and interesting.
We are considering a master class on making postcards-boots, taking the following for it:
• Watercolor paper;
• Pattern of a postcard-boot;
• New Year's scrap paper of different colors;
• Round pictures with monkeys;
• Green and blue die-cut circles;
• Large blue snowflakes from cuttings;
• Blue ribbon with pompoms;
• Stamping with the inscription “Happy New Year” in blue and green ink;
• Green and blue ink pads;
• Berries in sugar are blue, green, white, silver;
• Stamens are white with glitter;
• Blue mesh;
• Blue satin ribbons 3 mm wide;
• Liquid silver glitter;
• Scissors, glue stick, simple pencil, double-sided tape.

First, using a template, cut out two card bases from watercolor paper.

We tint one base along the edge with a green ink pad, and the second with a blue pad.

Now the template can be halved, cut it in half and apply it to scrap paper.

For each card we cut out two scrap boots. We immediately glue the back boots to the bases with double-sided tape.

We will decorate the front boots with pictures, stamps and decorations. First, we mark the pictures along the edges with pads, then glue them onto the circles with a glue stick.

We glue on a snowflake, and at the top there are protonated inscriptions “Happy New Year”. We sew pictures and inscriptions on a typewriter.

Now we glue the front boots to the bases. Now we sew each side of the boots separately with a machine.

Fold both cards and prepare decor. We cut along the ribbon, along the ribbon with pompoms and along the mesh section. We tie bows and make bouquets of berries and stamens.

We glue the decorations and finally put dots on the circles with liquid glitter.

We are pleased with the result of our work. We get these funny New Year's boots.Thank you all for your attention and efforts!
