Volumetric flowers in jelly
I suggest making an interesting jelly with a voluminous flower inside. They can easily surprise guests, because they are unlikely to have seen this somewhere. At first, you may not even guess how exactly this flower is made. Some people think that this is a real peony or chrysanthemum hidden in jelly. Everything turns out to be much simpler than you thought and these flowers can be prepared in a matter of minutes, which is what we’ll do now.
To prepare jelly with flowers you need:
- gelatin;
- water;
- lemon;
- carrot;
- cherries, raspberries or beets;
- milk;
- disposable medical syringes with needles 2 pcs.
1. First you need to make a base for the jelly. It can be made the day before preparing the main jelly, since it also needs time to harden. It should be as transparent as possible, but also have some taste. I suggest making lemon jelly as a base.
For this, 1 tbsp. Soak l gelatin in cold water, then transfer it to a bowl with 200 ml of hot water. Stir the water until the gelatin is completely dissolved, add lemon juice and sugar to taste.
2. Pour the main jelly into transparent bowls and put in a cool place to harden.

3. Now you need to make colored jelly.
In order to achieve an orange color, you need to extract the juice from the carrots.To do this, grate the carrots on a fine grater or squeeze out the juice through cheesecloth. You will need a little juice, so you also need one carrot.

4. For the red color that is needed for the flower petals, you will need raspberries, cherries or beets. I use raspberries. I need to defrost it and then extract the juice.

5. In order for the juice in the jelly to give at least some color, it must be mixed with milk.

6. Pour a portion of gelatin into each of the bowls with milk and milk in the proportion indicated for the main jelly.

7. To form a flower you need syringes: one for orange, and the second for red.

8. First you need to form the middle. To do this, take a syringe with orange liquid and pierce the jelly vertically, squeeze out a little liquid and pull out the needle, you will get one pestle. In parallel, form the remaining pestles from the syringe.

9. Now you need to form the flower petals. Depending on the type of flower, the petals can be thin or wide. For a thin petal, you need to perform actions similar to a pestle, and for a wide one, pierce the needle and draw it parallel to form a flat petal. By changing the angle of inclination, you can form many petals.

A thin layer of jelly will harden in just 10 minutes.
10. To remove the jelly from the bowl, place it in a bowl of hot water for a few seconds and then turn it over onto a plate. The image shows what voluminous flowers can be obtained as a result. Using liquids of different colors, you can depict other types of flowers.
