Miniature Easter egg basket
An excellent option for individual packaging of Easter “colors”. A basket of treats can be given to friends, relatives, and colleagues, but it will be a particularly valuable gift for children. They will gladly accept it and will certainly be interested in the contents of such an unusual gift!
To create such a stand you will need the following materials:
• a small sheet of cardboard (A5 size or any other oblong piece);
• openwork or figured ribbon (15 cm);
• jute twine;
• sewing needle with a large eye;
• waterproof polymer glue;
• 2 multi-colored satin ribbons (small pieces 0.8 cm wide);
• 2-3 small beads and several types of small beads;
• artificial leaves and flowers;
• an awl or a large needle.
Cut out the base for the basket (7x15 cm) from cardboard and mark it with a pencil, marking every centimeter along the top and bottom sides.
Then pierce each point with an awl or needle to get two identical rows of holes.
After this, sew the upper and lower holes with jute thread, connecting the opposite sides in pairs.
In the top row, always move the needle into the adjacent hole, and in the bottom row, pull it to the opposite end to form a wicker bottom.
The end result should be something like this, with a small dotted seam on the inside.
It's time to get busy with the pen. Weave a braid using 3 strands and close it with knots on both sides.
Then coat the ends of the handle with glue and glue them inside the basket.
Also cover the upper and lower edges of the base with thread, generously greasing the cardboard with glue.
Now glue the braid near the top winding and decorate the handle with “greenery”.
Make small flowers from satin ribbons. To do this, sew the bottom edge of a small piece of tape with an even stitch and pull the thread tightly.
The flowers also need to be glued to the base. Their centers can be decorated with beads and a small “path” of beads can be made near these flowers.
The cart is ready! Always please your loved ones with the unusual design of holiday delicacies and they will be grateful to you for it.
