Bags for storing herbs and seeds
Summer is the first time to collect herbs and flowers. Marigolds, chamomile, calendula, linden - all this is a real treasure during the season of colds and ailments. What would winter be without a medicinal “harvest”?
It is for such purposes that special “storages” are needed. We offer to make creative fabric bags to save your valuable stock. It will not only be easy to store herbs, flowers or seeds in them, but also very convenient, practical and beautiful.

Prepare thick fabric for sewing the base, a hoop, a needle with a large eye, thick yarn (best used for knitting) green, red (any other is possible), plus yellow or light green. You will also need a small piece of any ribbon and sewing thread to stitch the sides of our bag.

First, let's start creating floral decor. After all, it is easier to embroider on a large surface than on the front side of a narrow and small bag.

We fix the fabric tightly with a hoop, then take a ruler and a simple pencil to make markings.

In the center of the stretched fabric we draw a square with sides of 8 cm.
We divide it into equal squares, drawing horizontal and vertical lines inside it at a distance of 2 centimeters from each other. Then we stitch each of these lines with thread, leaving only the outer sides of the square untouched.

We embroider crosses in small figures. They consist of diagonals that connect the opposite corners of each square.

Next, we grab these crosses in the center with a light green thread, stitching the intersection of the green threads along with the fabric.

Now we create flowers in the area of unstuck areas. We sew roses with red thread, intertwining it with a green frame in a circle.

Be sure to alternate between gripping “over the thread” and “under the thread” so that the red yarn is woven evenly.

At the end, we stitch the outline of the large square with red thread and secure it with light green stitches along each side.

We cut off a small piece of fabric with an embroidered pattern from the whole canvas and sew it on the sides using a reverse stitch.

We sew a ribbon to the back wall to tie our mini bag.

And now the bag is ready. In addition to storing herbs, it can be considered a decorative attribute that will also decorate your home.
