Folder for marriage certificate
A long-awaited and very important event in the life of every couple is, of course, their wedding. Basically, preparation for a wedding lasts several months, so there is time to think through everything to the smallest detail so as not to miss anything. A wedding should be memorable not only for the newlyweds, but also for all the guests invited to it. The newlyweds choose the color scheme themselves, and therefore make sure that all accessories and decorations fully match their color and are decorated with taste and sophistication. The most important wedding document that confirms the legal registration of marriage is a certificate of its conclusion. This first wedding and joint document is presented to the newlyweds at the registry office solemnly after signatures and the words “We declare you husband and wife.” It should be presented beautifully, so it is immediately advisable for him to have a folder in which it will be beautifully stored. You can make this folder yourself, which is what we will look at now.
To sew a folder we take:
• 20 by 30 cm two binding cardboards;
• Sheet padding polyester;
• Three sheets of lilac paper 30 by 30 cm of archival quality;
• Plain lilac and lilac floral fabric (we take good quality so that the fabric does not fray, it is better to take satin or Korean cotton);
• Chipboard “Marriage Certificate”;
• Four large metal corners;
• Curb hole punch;
• Lilac lace;
• White figured ribbon with fabric roses;
• Hydrangea flowers are lilac and white, large and small, 25 mm and 50 mm in diameter;
• Brads with lilac pebbles;
• Pendant pair of hearts;
• White fabric flower;
• Paper roses, large and small, white and lilac;
• Glue;
• Pencil, glue stick, double-sided tape, ruler, scissors:
• A small strip of cardboard or watercolor paper.

First, we need to make one large solid blank for our daddy, for the basis of which we take two sheets of binding cardboard. Cut a strip of cardboard 6.5 by 30 cm.

We divide the strip into three parts with a width of 3 by 0.5 by 3 cm, draw two bending lines and now use this strip to connect the two sheets to each other. Apply glue stick to both sides and glue.

Use scissors to draw a few bending lines and you're done.

Now we work with the fabric. We cut off a large piece of plain color, it will be in the center, and along the edges there will be pieces of floral. Be sure to make provisions for the hem. You will need to sew lace between the fabrics, so we cut it along the strip. We cover the entire workpiece on the outside with double-sided tape.

We iron the fabrics, sew them together and sew on the lace, so we have one continuous piece. We glue padding polyester onto the base.

Now we wrap the workpiece with fabric and glue it from the inside with a glue stick.

We completely flash the folder and close it. We cut two rectangles, try them on the front part and sew them on.

Now we thread brads with pebbles into the centers of the flowers and thus attach them to the cover. From two identical scrap sheets we cut two rectangles 20.5 by 29 cm. We will use these sheets to decorate the folder inside. We cut another rectangle for the pocket 11 by 20.5 cm. We make it lace on top and sew it along the edge to one scrap rectangle.

We glue both rectangles inside with good glue and press the daddy so that the glue dries. Now we glue the chipboard with a glue stick and put silver corners on the corners of the daddy.

Glue the remaining flowers; you can glue cut out flags and glasses inside. The folder is completely ready. Thank you for your attention and good luck to everyone!
