Giraffes in love
A Valentine card in the form of a paper heart with declarations of love is banal and unromantic. Pictures of love themes look much more interesting. They can depict cats, birds, butterflies and even giraffes. Don't be surprised, giraffes in love look very cute.
Try using this master class to make bright felt giraffes located under a tree of hearts. Interesting? Then quickly collect the following materials and tools:
First, choose a suitable design. You can find the “Coloring for Children” section on the Internet and choose a beautiful image of a giraffe no more than 10 cm high.
Using a stencil, cut out 2 identical pieces from pink and yellow felt.
Sew the two halves together using brightly colored threads using a loop stitch. For example, for a yellow giraffe, you can choose green thread. Don't forget to leave a small hole through which the animal figurine can be filled with padding poly or cotton wool.
There is no need to put in too much padding polyester; a small amount is enough to create volume.
Use blue or red thread to sew the pink pieces together.
This is what giraffes look like, filled with padding polyester and completely covered with thread.
All that remains is to “revive” our animals. Sew on the horns, ears and tail from felt in a contrasting shade. The nose can be made from a small button, and the eyes can be drawn with a marker. These make such funny giraffes.
Now you need to make a base for the picture with a frame.
Cut out a green square with a side of 21 cm, as well as 4 blue strips measuring 3 cm by 25 cm.
Glue each strip along the edge of the square using double-sided tape to create a frame for the base.
From red colored cardboard, cut out a small strip and many miniature hearts of different sizes.
Glue all these parts in the center of the picture. It turns out a tree with hearts.
Decorate the blue frame with yellow stripes and hearts.
Glue the giraffes under the tree so that they look at each other.
The painting “Giraffes in Love” is ready.
It looks unusual and will definitely please the person to whom you present it on St. Valentine’s Day. Valentina.
If you don’t want to bother with cardboard and cut out all the details for the picture, then at the initial stage of work your giraffes can turn into a refrigerator magnet.
Sew a three-dimensional heart from blue felt using the same principle as the giraffes.
Glue a small round magnet onto it using hot glue.
Attach giraffes to the heart and decorate it with pieces of bright felt.
Attach a magnet to the refrigerator.
It looks no worse than those that are usually sold in souvenir shops.
