Valentine's card
As you know, on Valentine's Day, which is known as the day of all lovers, it is customary to give heart-shaped valentines to your loved ones (and just dear people). They can be sewn from fabric, knitted from yarn or thread, or made using applique. I offer you my own version of making a Valentine card from yarn. To do this, we need a minimum number of items: yarn (preferably red), scissors, a cardboard stencil in the shape of a heart, a narrow pink satin ribbon, Moment glue (preferably universal - colorless and odorless) and a lid from a plastic bucket from under mayonnaise.
Having collected the necessary equipment, let's get to work:
Applying the stencil to the lid, outline it and cut out the hearts. We pierce it with an awl in the place where it is supposed to thread the ribbon for hanging the finished valentine. Then we coat a small area of the heart with glue (one half) and glue the yarn by winding it. Each strip of yarn should fit tightly to the previous thread so that the surface of the form does not show through between them. Having pasted one side, we proceed to pasting the second. When the entire heart is covered with threads, you can think about additional decoration. For example, just hang it on a pink ribbon. Or tie the heart with ribbon in two places. Or you can simply tie a modest bow on one side of the heart.
Happy creativity!
