Automatically turn on and off from your computer
After turning off the computer, I also need to turn off the speaker system, modem, desk lamp.... I thought about how many unnecessary steps and decided to make a so-called general shutdown device that would be controlled by the computer.
Here is a diagram of this device. We can say that there is only one detail in it - this is a relay for a contact closing voltage of 5 volts, because it will be plugged into a USB port and for a contact group voltage of at least 400 volts and a current of up to 1 A. I had exactly this.
The operation of the device is simple - when you turn on the computer, current is supplied to the relay and the relay, in turn, turns on the loads.
There is another option to turn on the LPT port rather than the USB port and control the program, but I settled on usb.
I took an unnecessary socket and a round box, in short, it’s not that important, and assembled everything like this:
I attached the relay to a piece of an old board.
Ready!
We connect it to the computer and plug it into the acoustics. We turn on the computer and the acoustics turn on along with it!
Don't forget 220 volts is DANGEROUS to life!
